COVID-19

From Friday 20 March 2020 at midnight through Sunday 31 May 2020, Greenland closes its own geographical borders, meaning no traffic to the island is permitted. Some exceptions apply. (Note: from 4 May 2020, Greenland allows one-way outbound travel from the island).

Anyone entering Greenland, is required to home-quarantine for 14 days. Some exceptions apply.

As Greenland is part of the Kingdom of Denmark, travel restrictions set by the Danish government also apply for Greenland.

From Saturday, 14 March 2020 through Sunday, 31 May 2020, the Kingdom of Denmark’s borders are closed to all travellers who do not hold a Danish passport or who do not have residence in the Kingdom of Denmark. Some exceptions apply.
