Your journey starts here. Qaqortoq is the air gateway to South Greenland, while the region’s ports make it possible to arrive by sea. 
Arriving from Nuuk
Air Greenland offers direct flights from Nuuk, connecting you to destinations across Greenland as well as international hubs such as Copenhagen, Reykjavík, and New York City.
The flight time from Nuuk to Qaqortoq is approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes.
This route operates six days a week during summer, spring, and autumn, and five days a week during winter. 
Arriving from Reykavik
Icelandair offers direct flights from Keflavík, connecting you to 32 international destinations with same-day connections.
The flight time from Reykjavík to Qaqortoq is approximately 3 hours.
This route operates with four weekly departures and arrivals in June, July, and August, and two weekly departures and arrivals in September.  
Arrive by ferry with Arctic Umiaq Line
Sail aboard the Sarfaq Ittuk, which accommodates up to 238 passengers. On board, you’ll find a canteen, as well as the option to book private cabins or a bed in a shared dormitory.
You can embark or disembark in Narsaq, Qaqortoq, and Nanortalik once a week. The ferry connects many of Greenland’s towns and cities, allowing you to travel to destinations suchas Nuuk, Ilulissat, or even as far north as Qaanaaq.
